Scotter Attire: Urban Mod

The Spring Scarf,

As the weather has been warming up and the days here are filled with more and more sunshine, I have been changing up my scooter attire towards a more breathable essence. The main item I’ve changed has been from the heavier, winter scarf for a lighter and looser one that allows movement and air flow during the ride.  With the airy scarf you add a touch of class to your ensemble that evokes images of jubilation, and I can’t help but think about the following images when out riding,

The lighter, spring scarf has its own dance and movement that happens during the ride that offers a breath of fresh air while still protecting you from the harsh rays of the sun above. As the sun grows warmer you’ll find yourself shedding more and more layers of clothes, so remember to start carrying sunscreen with you to apply during those rides. If you have an open face helmet, you will want to apply sunscreen to your face and exposed neck for sure. I’ve learned the hard way that this Mediterranean sun doesn’t play around and is much different than the sun exposure I grew accustom to back in the states.

As for the outfit in total,

I’ve thrown in a bit of old and new, retro and contemporary to bring together an Urban Mod outfit to be proud of.

Totally cute! Must be so nice to have your spring scarf fluttering in the air as you drive. So classy and lady like, yet with your modern, hip touch 🙂 You’re making me want a Vespa just to coordinate outfits to!

  2. fantastic! love the Audrey Hepburn shot 🙂

  3. I can just image you driving down the street looking totally chic with your beautiful scarf flowing in the breeze behind you.
